Hello,
We have now booked flights to Western Province and leave on Sat morning, The boats are both still broken as far as we are aware. Its a blessing in disguise really as we have seen the boats and they are packed with people and really loud so a flight suits us fine haha.
I mentioned about accomodation and i think this has also been arrnaged for us - i guess we will find out tomorrow.
The only other thing i have to mention is Laura, she never made it yesterday. She wasnt allowed to fly as she never had the correct paper work, but has booked another flight for Tuesday so hopefully this will work out.
Please remember us in your prayers, especially since we dont really know what to expect in western province and so often plans we have fall through.
Thank you and will be in touch once we are back in Honiaira (unless we have internet in western province but i doubt it). We fly back to Honiara on the 17th July and then fly back to brisbane on the 21st.

- Hello! We are a bunch of young folks doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). We have had about 4 months of lectures and are now going on outreach to the Solomon Islands for 6 weeks. We thought it would be easier for family and friends of each of us if we had a blog to update other than sending many, many emails to many, many people. There are 9 people in our group, Stephen (Ireland) and Rhoda(Canada) (married) are our leaders, and there is myself, Lisa (Scotland), Stephen (California), Brandon (Canada), Maaike (Holland), Michael (England), Adam (Canada) and Judith (Germany) so we are from all over the place yet all have the same passion - To know God and to Make him known! So I hope this gives you an idea of who we are and what we are up to. Enjoy.
